Job summary

City of Hamilton is seeking a Scheduling Lead for the Enterprise Time and Attendance System, focusing on end-to-end scheduling design across multiple business units. You will partner with subject matter experts to gather requirements, define standards, and govern scheduling rules while ensuring compliance with labour agreements and policies.

The role involves leading configuration of UKG Pro WFM Scheduling modules, workforce demand planning, and analytics; you will mentor analysts and deliver

Qualifications

• University degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Hands-on experience implementing or supporting UKG Pro WFM (Dimensions or Workforce Central), specifically scheduling module.
• Experience leading scheduling design for enterprise-scale implementations (3,000+ employees preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall scheduling design aligned with operational practices across units.
• Governs scheduling policies, workforce planning rules, and shift allocation strategies.
• Lead configuration and maintenance of UKG Pro WFM Scheduling modules and analytics.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, and union stakeholders to validate scheduling solutions.
• Develop dashboards and reports using UKG Pro WFM Analytics, OTBI, or Power BI.
