Qualifications

• Experience coordinating staff schedules and attendance
• Strong communication and coordination abilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy in payroll-related data

Responsibilities

• Actively assign employees work schedules and maintain staffing schedules for all
• Schedule staff coverage for unfilled shifts by contacting employees and staffing agencies
• Validate and reconcile scheduled hours worked by employees through daily reports and submit validated hours to payroll
• Assist with leave administration activities and liaise with WCB
• Enter residents into PCC and create clinical charts; liaise with families and community
• Order, receive, distribute, and store nursing supplies
• Investigate Health and Safety incidents and administer incident reports
• Conduct Joint Health and Safety meetings and track corrective actions to closure
• Provide administrative support to Operations Manager and LTC facility leadership
• Represent the employer as a member of the bargaining committee
