Job summary

Exact Match Recruitment is seeking an Area Sales Manager to cover North Toronto GTA and surrounding areas. You will drive sales of automation products and solutions across defined industries in Southwestern Ontario, engaging operations, engineering, sales, marketing, estimating, and executive management.

You will develop value-based relationships, analyze client information, and create proposals with quantified impact. Travel across the region and occasional U.S.

Qualifications

• Technical, post graduate degree with a minimum of 3-5 years of industrial automation sales experience and solid local market knowledge.
• Proven track record of successful, complex, high-level negotiations.
• Familiarity with plant-floor automation architectures and engineering processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain value-based relationships across customer’s organizations.
• Gather and analyze information on the customer’s business, competitors, and internal processes.
• Develop proposals, cost savings opportunities and quantified business impact to support customers financial and operational objectives.
• Focus on high-tech product offering and solve sensor applications where necessary.
• Utilize strong sales processes including account planning, sales strategy development and execution to generate/develop strong consistent growth from assigned account list.
• Maintain knowledge of competitors' strengths and weaknesses to include both product and channel.
