Job summary

Rexel Canada is seeking an Outside Automation Sales Specialist — Industrial Controls, Sensing and Safety to drive revenue in Northern Ontario. You will combine deep technical knowledge with consultative selling to convert opportunities into closed deals, managing BOMs, pricing and cross-functional collaboration.

The role demands territory planning, CRM-driven pipeline management and strong communication with customers, OEMs and integrators. Travel to the USA for training may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronic, Control Systems, or Automation Technology.
• Two years’ experience in technical product sales or sales engineering.
• Experience with Rockwell Automation Industrial Control products.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• CRM proficiency and strong negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Sales and territory development for Industrial Controls, Sensing and Safety in Northern Ontario.
• Own sales targets and develop a territory plan to meet quota.
• Prepare commercial proposals, technical quotes and BOMs and negotiate terms.
• Coordinate pre-sales and post-sales activities with internal teams to ensure project delivery.
• Drive campaigns, workshops and executive briefings to accelerate decisions and adoption.
