Job summary

BDO Canada is seeking a Manager for the Strategic Pursuit Centre to lead end-to-end pursuit management for complex, high‑value opportunities and to coach a small team of 2–4 pursuit professionals.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Strategic Pursuit Centre, partner with service line leaders and SMEs to craft compelling proposals, oversee RFx analyses, and drive continuous improvement in process, tools, and service delivery.

Qualifications

• University degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, English, or related field.
• APMP, PMP, or related project management certification is considered an asset.
• 7+ years of progressive experience managing pursuits, proposals, or business development programs within professional services, consulting, technology, or related industries.
• Experience supporting both public and private sector pursuits is required.
• Previous experience leading, coaching, or managing teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end pursuit management for complex, strategic, high-value opportunities.
• Provide RFx analysis, pursuit strategy, proposal planning, compliance reviews, and submission oversight.
• Partner with service line leaders, partners, and SMEs to develop differentiated proposals.
• Support oral presentations, pursuit debriefs, and lessons learned activities.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and align with branding and best practices.
