Job summary

Altis Recruitment is partnering with a financial services leader in Toronto to identify a Strategic Projects & Events Lead. You will own high-profile initiatives, from events to philanthropy, working closely with a senior executive to connect people and priorities.

You'll manage multi-stakeholder programs, ensure alignment, and drive initiatives from planning through completion in a fast-paced environment with occasional evening commitments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project management, operations, events, experiential marketing or related environment.
• Proven ability to independently own complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong executive presence, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organized, responsive and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects from planning through execution.
• Coordinate high-profile events, working with external event planners, vendors, partners and internal teams.
• Support philanthropic initiatives, fundraising activities and community engagements.
• Manage executive speaking engagements and other external opportunities, including research, briefing materials and logistics.
• Coordinate special operational projects with external contractors and service providers.
• Serve as a key point of contact across senior executives, investors, donors, partners and other stakeholders.

Working closely with a senior executive, youll lead projects spanning events, philanthropy, external engagements, partnerships and special initiatives. Some may take weeks, others several months. Youll be the person keeping everyone aligned, anticipating what comes next and ensuring the details are handled without losing sight of the bigger picture.
