Job summary

IMT Precision in Ontario is seeking a Production Planner to coordinate manufacturing requirements, ensure material availability, and align schedules with production priorities. You’ll collaborate with Production, Inventory, Materials and other departments, maintain ERP/MRP data, monitor WIP, and trigger recovery actions when plans deviate.

• Post-secondary credential in a related field.
• 5+ years in production planning, scheduling, materials planning.
• Experience with ERP/MRP in manufacturing and strong data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop realistic production schedules based on material availability, capacity, WIP and shop-floor conditions.
• Identify and communicate production risks and constraints.
• Investigate planning exceptions and overdue production orders.
• Coordinate production recovery actions when schedules are not achieved.
• Collaborate across Production, Inventory, Materials, Purchasing and Quality teams.
