Job summary

moreng in North York, Ontario is seeking a Master Scheduler to own master scheduling, capacity planning and work centre scheduling through to final customer delivery. This full-time, on-site role in North York reports to the Director of Operations and requires cross-functional collaboration to keep production flowing on time.

You will develop and manage production schedules based on demand, capacity and material availability; publish weekly schedules and maintain daily boards across all work

Qualifications

• 3+ years master scheduling in ERP environments.
• Experience in aerospace, automotive or heavy equipment manufacturing.
• Related supervisory experience.
• Proficiency with MS Project and Excel.

About the Role

An established precision manufacturer of high precision aerospace components in the Greater Toronto Area is hiring a Master Scheduler to own master scheduling, capacity planning and work centre scheduling through to final customer delivery. This is a full time, permanent, on site role in North York, Ontario.

What You Will Do

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will develop and manage production schedules based on customer demand, capacity and material availability, keep scheduling boards current across every machine and work centre, and work cross functionally with engineering, quality, procurement and shipping to keep production flowing on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure on time delivery for your assigned customers and parts portfolio
• Develop and manage production schedules based on customer demand, capacity and material availability
• Publish weekly schedules and maintain daily scheduling boards across all work centres
• Identify bottlenecks and risks and implement corrective actions
• Manage work orders, capacity loading and resource allocation
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, procurement, shipping and program management
• Optimize production planning using ERP and MRP systems

Must Haves

• Certificate or degree in production planning, manufacturing or process engineering, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years of master scheduling and planning experience in a full ERP environment, in aerospace, automotive or heavy equipment manufacturing
• Related supervisory experience
• Strong communication, problem solving and organizational skills
• Proficiency with MS Project, Excel and similar planning tools

Nice to Haves

• APICS training or certification
• Hands on machining or shop floor background
