Job summary

White Cap Canada is seeking a production planning professional to coordinate customer demand with manufacturing capacity. You will develop production schedules, coordinate material availability, and maintain ERP data to support on-time delivery and efficient operations.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in a related field with project management.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Dynamics Navision, Oracle, Infor, SAP).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong inventory planning and MRP understanding.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate customer demand with manufacturing capacity to support on-time delivery.
  • Develop production schedules and coordinate material availability.
  • Maintain ERP planning data and BOMs, routing, and master data.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, customer service, logistics and sales to resolve issues and improve delivery performance.
  • Monitor order progress, lead times, and schedule adherence, addressing delays.
  • Ensure raw materials and components are available to support planned production.
  • Analyze demand forecasts and sales trends to recommend production plans.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
