Job summary

Sanmina Corporation in Ottawa, Ontario is seeking a Master Production Scheduler who will create and manage the master production schedule for a complex Configure-to-Order program. You will act as a liaison with Engineering, Sales, Production and Shipping to align resources and materials with schedules.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Business Management or Operations Management, 8+ years of related experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with ERP/MRP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
• Minimum 8 years related experience.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop integrated master schedule for a complex Configure to Order program.
• Act as a liaison between sales, production, procurement, and engineering to align resources and materials with schedules.
• Track progress, analyze performance metrics, identify risks and troubleshoot issues.
• Participate in closing aged WIP and work order variances.
• Ensure optimal flow and FIFO through the shop.
• Prepare status reports and dashboards; communicate schedule updates.
• Use data to drive process improvements and capacity utilization.
• Monitor changes in forecasts and budgets; adjust plans accordingly.
• Communicate production schedule to staff promptly.
