Job summary

Syntronic Production Services Canada, an Electronic Manufacturing Services provider in Ottawa, seeks a production planner to coordinate scheduling and inventory for circuit card assembly. You will monitor progress, allocate materials, and maintain ERP/MRP data to support efficient manufacturing.

The role requires a post-secondary diploma in Project Management (or equivalent) and 3 years of planning experience; CPIM is an asset. Strong communication and cross-functional teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma related to project management or equivalent experience.
• CPIM certification would be an asset.
• Three years of production planning/inventory control experience in manufacturing.
• Excellent problem solving, organizational and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and strong Office skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with different departments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage production schedules to ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Coordinate with production teams, inventory control and procurement to secure materials for assembly.
• Ensure proper allocation of raw materials for circuit card assembly.
• Track production progress and efficiency; report discrepancies or delays to management.
• Maintain real-time MRP records and prepare production reports on trends and quality.
