Job summary

The MEARIE Group is seeking a Procurement & Finance Coordinator to align purchasing, asset records, and finance functions with corporate policies. You will liaise between Finance and Operations, supporting accounts payable, budgeting, reporting, and capital projects.

You will also manage inventory, fixed assets, fleet administration, and contract compliance while collaborating across departments to ensure accurate financial data and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of three years of experience in purchasing, procurement, accounting, inventory management, or finance.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) or Northstar is an asset.
• Strong understanding of purchasing principles and inventory control.
• Experience with financial reporting and accounting concepts.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and with others; attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement and purchasing activities in line with policies and legislation.
• Maintain perpetual inventory records and reconcile with General Ledger.
• Manage fixed assets, capital projects, and depreciation records.
• Support accounts payable, budgeting, and financial reporting tasks.
• Oversee fleet administration, licensing, and vehicle maintenance.
• Coordinate contracts, insurance documentation, and risk management.
• Support office facilities, administrative tasks, and process improvements.
