CNIB in Toronto, Ontario is seeking a Business Partner, People & Culture to advise leaders on employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning. You will ensure policy compliance, support collective agreements, and partner with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and Health & Safety to deliver integrated HR services.

The role requires a post-secondary HR degree and 3+ years in a P&C function, with strong communication in English and French assets.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of Canadian employment legislation and HR practices.
• Ability to independently manage employee relations matters and advise on risk.
• Strong interpersonal and coaching skills to influence stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Act as a key P&C partner to managers and employees on employee and labour relations matters.
• Manage routine to moderately complex employee relations issues and escalate complex matters as needed.
• Interpret and apply policies, collective agreements, and employment legislation; advise on grievances and investigations.
• Coach leaders on employee relations and performance management.
• Support talent management, succession planning, and employee development processes.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on recruitment, onboarding, and retention.
• Support leadership development needs with Learning and Development.
• Interpret engagement results and develop action plans to improve team effectiveness and experience.
• Assist with organizational change and change management communications.
• Analyze turnover, absenteeism, and engagement to identify trends and risks.
