Job summary

Long View in Canada is seeking a People Services Advisor to support the Integrated Global Services branch in Calgary or Toronto. You will be the trusted HR partner for Canada and the US, delivering daily HR support and advising leaders on employee relations, performance, and programs that enhance the employee experience.

The role requires 5+ years in HR, strong knowledge of Canadian employment laws (AB, BC, ON) and US practices, excellent communication, and a passion for helping others.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian employment laws (AB/BC/ON) and US HR practices.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Education in human resources or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily HR support to the Integrated Global Services branch.
• Advise leadership on employee relations and performance management.
• Administer HR policies, compensation changes, and onboarding.
• Support HRIS, benefits administration, and data analysis.
• Foster belonging and culture through IGS initiatives and events.
• Assist with visas and immigration matters.
• Support Health & Safety program for the branch.
