Job summary

Build Nova Scotia is seeking a Strategy and Partnerships Advisor to support corporate strategy development and lead the partnership program. You will research issues, provide strategic advice, and coordinate cross-functional initiatives with internal teams and external partners.

The role focuses on Halifax Waterfront tenants, events and programming, collaborating with Marketing and Communications to deliver on priorities and engage stakeholders.

Qualifications

• University degree in a related field with minimum five years of experience.
• Experience in strategic planning, partnership development and event management.
• Ability to build relationships across public, private and community sectors.
• Strong research and analytical skills with practical advice.

Responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of Build Nova Scotia's corporate strategy.
• Research issues and opportunities affecting priorities and planning.
• Provide strategic advice, briefings and materials for leadership decisions.
• Lead or support strategic initiatives and cross-functional coordination.
• Manage partnership program and assess eligibility, value and risks.
• Coordinate partnerships, tracking inputs and reporting.
• Support Halifax Waterfront tenant relationships and programming.
• Plan and deliver internal events and Industry Days and external events.
