Job summary

Town of Innisfil is seeking a Learning and Talent Coordinator for a 2-year contract to lead development initiatives and support recruitment and talent programs. The role focuses on coordinating training, onboarding, and performance initiatives while collaborating with leadership to drive organizational success.

The position requires HR education, CHRP or higher, and 2–3 years of HR experience, with flexibility for meetings outside regular hours as needed. Ontario location in Innisfil.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in HR; CHRP or equivalent preferred.
• 2–3 years HR experience with admin in HR functions.
• Experience in learning and development and in a unionized environment is an asset.
• Proficiency with learning media, multimedia, online learning technologies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a wide range of corporate learning programs, including scheduling and logistics.
• Support creation, formatting, and upload of e-learning content with SMEs.
• Assist recruitment: posting jobs, media, candidate communications, interviews, onboarding.
• Support talent management initiatives: performance, mentoring, succession planning.
• Act as a liaison for employees and leaders on talent and learning; build relationships.
