Job summary

Your Neighbourhood Credit Union (YNCU) seeks a Director, Agriculture & Small Business to lead the strategic growth of the Agriculture and Small Business portfolios, directing lending strategy, portfolio quality, member growth, and relationship management across our market.

The successful candidate will apply deep experience in agricultural and commercial lending, credit analysis, and risk management while building a scalable, community-focused operation with regular travel to engage members,

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in Agriculture, Business, Finance, Commerce or related discipline.
Progressive experience in agricultural and/or commercial lending, account management and portfolio leadership.
Strong knowledge of Ontario's agricultural sector, credit risk and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic growth for Agriculture and Small Business portfolios.
Develop and implement plans to increase lending, memberships and portfolio quality.
Monitor portfolio performance and risk, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Build and maintain relationships with agricultural producers and small business owners.
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver a coordinated member experience.
Travel regularly within YNCU's market to meet members and partners.
