Your Neighbourhood Credit Union Limited in Mitchell, ON, is seeking a Director to lead Agriculture and Small Business. This hybrid, regular full-time role focuses on strategy, lending performance, portfolio quality and member growth across agriculture and small business sectors.

The role requires deep lending expertise, relationship leadership, market development, and the ability to travel across YNCU's market.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Agriculture, Business, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline.
• Significant progressive experience in agricultural and/or commercial lending, account management and portfolio leadership.
• Deep experience in agricultural lending and understanding of Ontario's agricultural sector.
• Strong experience in financial statement and cash flow analysis, credit structuring.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and risk controls in a regulated financial institution.
• Proven success in business development and lending growth.
• Leadership experience including coaching and developing lending professionals.
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout YNCU's market.

Responsibilities

• Identify target markets and develop growth plans to expand presence within agriculture and small business.
• Lead lending and portfolio management, ensuring performance and risk controls.
• Develop relationships with agricultural producers, small business owners, accountants and lawyers.
• Represent YNCU at industry events and community activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver a coordinated member experience.
