Job summary

Your Neighbourhood Credit Union (YNCU) is seeking a Senior Manager, Agriculture Lending & Business Services to lead and expand our agriculture business. The role focuses on strategic growth, relationship management, and portfolio leadership across Ontario's agricultural sector.

The successful candidate will bring deep agricultural lending expertise, strong credit risk acumen, and a proven ability to develop new business and partnerships with producers and local communities.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Agriculture, Business, Finance, Commerce or related discipline.
• Significant progressive experience in agricultural lending, commercial lending and agricultural account management.
• Deep experience managing complex agricultural lending relationships and portfolios.
• Strong experience in financial statement analysis, cash flow analysis, credit structuring and portfolio management.
• Must be able to travel regularly throughout YNCU's market and work outside normal hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement action plans for small business and agricultural development.
• Conduct regular relationship reviews to identify lending, deposit, cash management, wealth opportunities.
• Establish YNCU as a trusted financial partner within the agricultural community.
• Maintain knowledge of Ontario agriculture and translate into actionable strategies.
• Travel throughout YNCU's market to meet members, prospects and partners.
• Structure and recommend complex agricultural credit facilities with sound analysis.
