Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate HR policies and programmes.
• Advise managers and employees on HR policies, benefit programmes, and collective bargaining agreements.
• Negotiate collective bargaining agreements on behalf of employers or employees.
• Prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales.
• Administer benefit, employment equity, and other HR programmes.
• Research employee benefits and health and safety practices and recommend changes.
• Hire, train, and supervise employees.
