Job summary

Altis Technology is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join a veterinary and animal healthcare-focused organization on a permanent basis. You will balance strategic HR initiatives with hands-on support across employee relations, coaching, policy development, and organizational projects.

You will collaborate with HR leadership to shape the employee experience, support managers, and help build scalable HR processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience in an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Generalist capacity.
• Strong employee relations, conflict resolution, coaching, and workplace investigation experience.
• Experience delivering manager training and supporting leadership development.
• Comfortable balancing strategic HR initiatives with day-to-day operational responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to provide guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, performance management, and workplace investigations.
• Support return-to-work programs, disability management, WSIB processes, and workplace accommodations.
• Develop and enhance HR policies, procedures, onboarding, and organization-wide orientation programs.
• Deliver training and coaching to managers on leadership, employment legislation, employee development, and performance conversations.
• Contribute to strategic HR initiatives including compensation reviews, benefits enhancements, and employee engagement programs.
• Assist with HR administration including employment letters, offer letters, reporting, and occasional HRIS and payroll support during the transition to ADP.
• Collaborate with the HR Director and HR Generalist to ensure continuity across the HR function while helping build scalable processes.
