Job summary

GreenShield is seeking a seasoned Business Development leader to identify new opportunities, build strategic relationships, and drive revenue growth in the claims management and benefits administration space. You will collaborate with internal teams to create tailored solutions, support the sales process, and contribute to GreenShield's growth and mission.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in BD/sales, a relevant bachelor's degree, and the ability to engage senior decision-makers;

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the claims adjudication, insurance, or healthcare administration industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
• Proven ability to develop and execute business development strategies, close deals, and achieve sales targets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior-level decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect potential clients within the claims adjudication and benefits administration sectors.
• Develop strong, trusted relationships with executives and decision-makers; act as strategic advisor.
• Support implementation and maintain long-term client relationships; primary point of contact for BD inquiries.
• Develop and implement a BD strategy aligned with goals; collaborate on tailored proposals and RFP responses.
• Explore partnerships with industry stakeholders to enhance offerings and expand the client base.
• Lead negotiations with clients ensuring profitable agreements and accurate sales forecasts.
