Job summary

BMO Financial Group is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide advanced financial and economic analysis to support decision-making for the designated portfolio. You will partner with business leaders and Finance partners to drive value through forecasting, performance reviews and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities include preparing variance analyses, developing methodologies, and ensuring alignment of KPIs with forecasts while applying the Risk Management Framework.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of relevant experience with a post-secondary degree or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Collaborative with excellent teamwork.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with data-driven mindset.
• Ability to influence and negotiate to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develops detailed financial and economic analysis to assist the designated business portfolio.
• Provides financial advice and services to support management activities.
• Leads financial planning, forecasting and performance reviews.
• Performs variance analyses and ad-hoc forward-looking analyses to improve performance.
• Develops methodologies and policies to enable analyses focused on financial dimensions.
