Job summary

Silk & Snow Inc. in Toronto is seeking a Senior Analyst, Financial Planning to join our finance team. This role partners with stakeholders to analyse commercial performance and drive growth through actionable insights, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and reporting enhancement across the business.

You will perform margin analysis, support FP&A processes, work with data teams to ensure timely reports, and translate complex data into clear recommendations for senior leaders.

Qualifications

• CPA designation completed or nearing completion.
• Minimum 3 years of finance experience, including 1+ year in a commercial finance role.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to model complex scenarios.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for non-finance stakeholders.
• Experience with retail and/or e-commerce environments.
• Ability to translate large datasets into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed margin and promotional analysis to identify profitability opportunities.
• Partner with business leaders to provide commercial analysis for strategic decisions.
• Maintain and develop the weekly trading pack.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A activities.
• Collaborate with Data Team to ensure timely, accurate reporting.
• Deliver ad hoc analyses and support major business projects.
• Provide insights into trading performance and business trends.
• Drive improvements to reporting processes and financial analysis capabilities.
