Job summary

The International Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Analyst, FP&A to join our Finance team in Toronto. This role drives financial insight, supports strategic decision-making, and enhances reporting and forecasting across the organization.

Ideal candidates excel in financial modeling, data analysis, and accounting fundamentals, with the ability to back up Controllers when needed and to partner with site and corporate finance teams across Canada and the US.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting designation (CPA) or financial certification (CFA) is required.
• 5–10 years FP&A, accounting, or financial analysis experience in a multi-site, multi-currency manufacturing environment.
• Experience in oil & gas, industrial gases, chemical processing, or complex batch manufacturing preferred.
• Advanced Excel financial modeling (index/match, Power Query, scenario planning, sensitivity analysis).
• SQL and/or Power BI for data retrieval, modeling, and visualization.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgets and long-range planning.
• Translate operational drivers into financial outcomes with business leaders.
• Analyze financial and operational data; build dashboards and KPI reports.
• Support month-end close, reconciliations, and cost accounting fundamentals.
• Communicate insights clearly to non-financial audiences and collaborate cross-functionally.
