Job summary

North American Construction Group (NACG) is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to support the Fort Hills site. You will maintain an accurate equipment list, track hourly readings, and keep maintenance records up to date while ensuring regulatory compliance and timely execution of planned work.

The role requires coordination with maintenance supervision to develop weekly plans, manage resources, and monitor plan adherence.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience relating to maintenance.
• Industrial construction and/or mining experience preferred.
• Mechanical related secondary education (Diploma or Degree).
• Capable of strategic and tactical thinking with a drive to meet quality, cost and schedule targets.
• Thorough knowledge of maintenance practices and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Detailed working knowledge of planning tools (JD Edwards, MS Office Package, etc).

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate list of equipment on site and keep JD Edwards database current.
• Track daily equipment hour meter readings and update maintenance records.
• Ensure regulatory documentation is current and complete.
• Create and manage work orders; maintain backlog and status.
• Develop and communicate weekly maintenance plans with supervision; ensure resources are available.
