Job summary

West Fraser invites applications for a Divisional Controller at Quesnel Sawmill. As the senior financial resource on site, you will lead full-cycle accounting, monthly entries, reporting and financial analysis for the division, while guiding administrative staff.

You will help develop the annual business plan, provide value-added decision support, and collaborate with the corporate head office. CPA or near‑completion is required; strong Excel and experience with Oracle or JD Edwards are assets.

Qualifications

• CPA designation or final stages required.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented approach to work.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with Oracle and/or JD Edwards is a plus.
• Forestry industry experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare full-cycle accounting for the division, including monthly journal entries and financial statements.
• Provide operational and financial support and analysis for the division's management and corporate offices.
• Supervise administrative staff and coach personnel on financial matters.
• Coordinate and prepare the annual business plan.
• Participate in management team and provide value-added decision support.
