Job summary

BDC, Canada's development bank, is building an AI-native incubator and seeks an experienced Delivery Lead to join the team. You’ll work at the intersection of strategy, technology and execution, translating incubator work into business cases, briefing notes, and executive updates that withstand scrutiny from finance, risk, legal, and communications.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years in strategy, consulting, corporate development, or operations leadership.
• Experience working adjacent to technical teams without being an engineer.
• Experience inside a regulated or public-sector institution, or fast adaptation to one.
• Ability to build cross-functional partnerships and maintain them between asks.

Responsibilities

• Own the incubator room: decisions, owners, and dates.
• Translate incubator work into business cases, briefing notes, and executive updates.
• Delivery cadence: keep the team shipping against a plan and ensure nothing slips.
• Internal navigation: map stakeholders and keep partner units warm between asks.
• Proxy authority: represent the incubator when the head is unavailable; defend commitments with data.
• Evidence: track what the incubator produces to defend it with numbers rather than enthusiasm.
