Job summary

RBC is seeking a Development Lead in Toronto to drive AI-powered modernization across Global Corporate Banking Technology. You will architect scalable React and .NET Core solutions, set technical standards, and mentor teams to deliver enterprise-grade systems.

You will work with senior stakeholders to translate business needs into robust architectures, integrating AI development practices and enabling faster, reliable delivery across multiple business lines.

Qualifications

7+ years of relevant software development experience.
Experience translating business requirements into technical architecture and leading implementation.
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development workflows (AI-DLC) including prompt engineering and code generation tools.

Responsibilities

Architect and build scalable React and .NET Core solutions with reusable patterns.
Integrate AI-driven development practices into team workflows and establish guardrails for responsible AI coding.
Lead architectural decisions for frontend and backend solutions and mentor teams through complex challenges.
Champion CI/CD practices to improve deployment frequency and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to drive technical vision.
