Job summary

Siemens Energy Canada Limited in Montreal seeks a Commercial / Finance administrator and project-controlling specialist to analyze and report financial results, manage orders, and ensure adherence to budgets and guidelines. Commercial / Finance administration and controlling of projects, orders with a focus on preparation of analysis & reporting of financial results. Prompt execution within the deadlines, budget, and financial guidelines.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Control and report on financial activities, including P&L (Revenue, Cost of Sales, R&D) and Balance Sheet (Inventory, Fixed Assets, Orders on Hand).
• Manage transfer prices, price catalog, and operational KPIs.
• Compile cost calculations, analyze deviations, and support plant/site success.
• Oversee order management processes, including quotations, order entry, project creation, cost controlling, deliveries, and invoicing.
• Perform month-end closing activities related to financial reporting.
• Prepare financial information for grants and conduct analyses to support decision-making, including audit documentation.

What You Bring

• You have a university degree in the field of Business Administration and Finance, combined with 3 to 4 years of professional working experience.
• You have experience in the field of data analytics - preferably related to finance processes.
• High analytical skills and critical mind set with an attention to details and financial value flows.
• Very good communication skills in French. This position is in a French-speaking environment but requires fluency in English to comprehend documentation and technical terms from international sources, and to communicate with customers, suppliers, or international colleagues.
• Good knowledge in SAP, MS Office (Excel, Power Point)
• Ability to interact with diverse environments (cultures, internal and external partners, business drivers).
