Job summary

HSB Canada, part of Munich Re, seeks an experienced Claims Adjuster for our downtown Toronto office. You will manage full-cycle personal property claims, advise insureds, and negotiate settlements to ensure timely, high-quality service.

With a hybrid work model and a strong compensation package including a company bonus, you will join a team focused on excellence in cyber, equipment, and technology risk. Applicants with CIP or provincial licensing are preferred.

Qualifications

• University degree and/or CIP designation completed or in process.
• Minimum 2 years of personal property lines claims experience.
• Cyber claims experience is considered an asset.
• Valid Adjuster License permitting claims handling in additional provinces is considered an asset.
• Bilingual in French and English is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Full-cycle claims handling from First Notice of Loss to final settlement and payment.
• Advising insureds on claim-related matters and delivering timely, high-quality service.
• Negotiating settlements and resolving complex claim issues.
• Collaborating with insureds and client companies to provide guidance and facilitate effective claim resolution.
• Maintaining thorough documentation in claims systems.
