Job summary

Avery Dennison in North York, Ontario is seeking a detail-oriented Capacity & Demand Planner to forecast capacity requirements and drive initiatives to match demand across facilities, equipment, and staffing.

You will partner with finance, sales, and operations to build capacity models, monitor performance, and lead data-driven improvements to maximize asset utilization and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in demand planning, capacity planning or supply chain analysis.
• Strong analytical and data analysis skills; proficient with Excel, SQL, Python, and R.

Responsibilities

• Develop and map a structured demand planning workflow.
• Gather market intelligence from CS, Marketing and Sales to refine forecasts.
• Forecast capacity needs across facilities, equipment and staffing.
• Formulate short and long-term capacity strategies and test scenarios.
• Collaborate across functions to share capacity insights and guidance.
• Monitor and report capacity metrics; drive process improvements.
