Okane Consultants is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in Canada and the United States, with options for Calgary, Saskatoon, or remote work from Vancouver. You will build relationships, lead strategic pursuits, and champion our vision in target markets.

You will collaborate across teams, lead EOIs/SOQs, negotiate contracts, and develop partnerships with industry, government, and academia to create long‑term value while aligning with Okane’s safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development or professional services.
• Proven track record leading proposals and negotiations.
• Active participation in industry events and associations.
• Strong client relationship management and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new opportunities in Canada and the US.
• Build and sustain long‑term client relationships.
• Lead EOIs and SOQs responses; contribute to proposals.
• Lead commercial discussions and align terms with risk management.
• Forge partnerships with government, industry, consultants, and academia.
• Localise marketing initiatives and support events and community engagement.
• Meet or exceed regional revenue targets and manage a robust sales pipeline.
