Qualifications

• Experience in business development or professional services within the mining, energy, or environmental consulting sectors.
• Degree or diploma in engineering, geological, or environmental sciences.
• Proven track record of leading successful proposals and negotiations that resulted in long‑term client partnerships.
• Active participation in industry events and associations.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with Okane’s strategic objectives in Canada and the United States.
• Build and sustain long‑term, trust‑based relationships with key clients by understanding their business needs and providing ongoing value.
• Lead the response to EOIs and development of client‑specific SOQs, and contribute to compelling proposals.
• Lead commercial discussions with clients and finalize agreements that support long‑term partnerships.
• Forge collaborative relationships with government agencies, industry leaders, consultants, and research institutions.
• Localise and activate marketing initiatives in Canada and the United States and support conference participation.
