Job summary

IMAX is seeking a Business Analyst to bridge business functions, technology teams, data teams, and leadership in defining technology-enabled business solutions. You will translate complex needs into structured requirements and support solution delivery while ensuring measurable business value.

You will work across Finance, Operations, IT, Data & Analytics, and HR to design scalable processes. Strong facilitation and problem-solving are essential, with a focus on alignment and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, IT, CS, finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Business Analysis.
• Experience with requirements gathering, process modelling, enterprise systems, and system integrations.
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Working knowledge of SQL, Power BI, BPMN or UML.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and requirements-gathering sessions with business and technology stakeholders.
• Translate complex business problems into clear functional, non-functional, reporting, data, and integration requirements.
• Document requirements, use cases, scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
• Define project scope, risks, and dependencies; facilitate reviews with stakeholders.
• Document data mappings and system interfaces; ensure traceability through delivery.
• Coordinate requirements across internal apps and external vendors; support UAT.
• Support adoption of new systems and business processes; guide change initiatives.
