Job summary

OMERS / Oxford Properties Group seeks a program analyst to translate business needs into clear requirements for data, analytics, and AI-enabled initiatives. You will document processes, partner with Investment, Finance, Risk, and IT stakeholders, and help deliver platform enhancements through structured requirements, user stories, and data-flow diagrams.

The role collaborates with Data Engineers, Power BI developers, data scientists, IT, and enterprise architects.

Qualifications

2-4 years of experience analyzing business processes and documenting needs for technical teams.
Product-oriented mindset translating business problems into outcomes and MVP scope.
Experience supporting data, analytics, automation, or AI-enabled initiatives.
Understanding of data lifecycle concepts, quality, lineage, and metadata.
Ability to document requirements using user stories, data flows, and diagrams.
Strong communication, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Experience in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Document existing processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
Analyze systems, data, infrastructure, and integrations for platform improvements.
Gather, document, and maintain business and functional requirements.
Support investigation of issues and contribute to solution recommendations.
Participate in design reviews to align solutions with requirements.
Develop and execute business test plans including performance and UAT.
Collaborate with Program Manager and project team to meet priorities.
Engage with stakeholders across teams and document artifacts.
