Job summary

LanceSoft, Inc. is seeking a highly analytical Business Analyst to support transformation initiatives through data-driven insights, stakeholder collaboration, and process improvement.

The role partners with business and IT teams to identify needs, document requirements, and ensure successful delivery of solutions aligned with objectives. You will lead PIA activities, perform gap analyses, model processes, and develop workflows and use cases.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Business Analysis experience at Junior level, or 5+ (Intermediate) or 10+ (Senior).
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and process analysis.
• Experience leading Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) and privacy-related compliance initiatives.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into functional specifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights for decision-making.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements and translate to functional specs.
• Lead Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) through governance and approval processes.
• Perform gap analysis to identify process, system, or operational improvements.
• Develop and maintain business process models, workflows, use cases, and process documentation.
• Analyze existing business processes and recommend optimization and automation opportunities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
• Work with IT to design, develop, test, and implement technology solutions aligned with requirements.
• Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring solutions meet business needs.
• Prepare and deliver reports, dashboards, presentations, and recommendations to leadership.
• Monitor industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies relevant to analysis and privacy.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and documentation.
• Demonstrated experience conducting data analysis and generating business insights.
• Experience leading Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) and privacy-related compliance initiatives.
• Knowledge of business process modeling techniques and tools.
• Experience in gap analysis, process improvement, and workflow optimization.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and project delivery methodologies.
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, project teams, and IT organizations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with reporting and dashboarding tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall project methodologies.
• Experience with process automation and digital transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with privacy regulations, governance frameworks, and risk assessment processes.
