Job summary

At BMO in Calgary, we seek a Business Analyst focused on AI-Enabled Delivery. You will bridge business needs with technology solutions, leveraging Gen AI to accelerate delivery, improve requirements quality, and optimize outcomes across the SDLC.

In this role you will work with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, developers and QA to elicit requirements, craft user stories, map processes, and support UAT/SIT while ensuring responsible AI usage throughout projects.

Role Overview

As a Business Analyst, with a focus on AI-Enabled Delivery at BMO, you will play a critical role in bridging business needs, technology solutions, and emerging Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities. Working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, product owners, architects, developers, and quality engineering teams, you will leverage both traditional business analysis practices and AI-powered tools to accelerate delivery, improve decision-making, enhance requirements quality, and optimize business outcomes.

This role extends beyond traditional business analysis by incorporating Generative AI (Gen AI) and AI-assisted delivery practices throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). You will utilize AI to support requirements elicitation, process analysis, documentation creation, impact assessments, test case generation, knowledge management, user story development, solution validation, and delivery acceleration while ensuring responsible and secure AI usage.

The ideal candidate possesses strong business analysis skills, stakeholder management capabilities, and hands‑on experience utilizing AI technologies and AI‑assisted tools across multiple SDLC phases.

Key Responsibilities
