Job summary

CDW Canada is seeking a Bid Manager to lead our largest and most complex proposal pursuits. You will be the central strategist coordinating cross-functional teams from opportunity identification to contract award, ensuring compliant, compelling responses to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.

You will collaborate with Account Managers, sales leadership, solution architects, and subject matter experts to drive win themes, pricing, and post-submission activities, while maintaining tight alignment with deadlines

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
7–8 years relevant work experience in IT proposals or proposal management.
Experience in IT resale and/or IT services preferred.
Experience as a CDW Proposal Specialist or equivalent is a plus.

Responsibilities

Gather opportunity intelligence and assess win probability to support bid decisions.
Assemble and lead the pursuit team, including senior leaders and SMEs.
Develop win strategy and capture plan.
Coordinate NDAs, teaming agreements, pricing letters and other docs.
Support pricing strategy and ensure costs are captured and margins protected.
Write and edit compliant, persuasive responses to Proposal Documents.
Lead or support post-submission activities like oral presentations and negotiations.
Track pursuit status and debriefs, and support handoffs to contracts or program management.
Contribute to training and content library improvements.
