Job summary

Colliers Project Leaders in Southern Ontario is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition and lead the annual sales plan across units. You will leverage local networks and mentor teams, guiding the business unit’s efforts to secure targets.

You will collaborate with sector leaders to forecast pipeline, pursue aspirational accounts, and build a strong local presence. This role offers a flexible work environment, onboarding, and significant professional development

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Business Development role.
• Experience developing and executing tactical sales plans including regularly exceeding quotas.

Responsibilities

• Assist in establishing and leading annual and quarterly sales targets with Principals, Account Managers, and VPs.
• Grow sales by 15% through acquisition of new accounts within the designated BU(s).
• Understand local market conditions and perform competitive market research to forecast pipeline.
• Identify opportunities and aspirational accounts to drive growth.
• Initiate and nurture prospective client relationships to secure opportunities.
• Build a personal brand and establish a presence in the community through networking events and trade shows.
• Collaborate with BUs to support marketing and sales efforts with new clients.
