Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia is seeking a customer-service oriented team member to support cashiering, merchandising and general store operations in our local community.

You will help train cashiers and merchandisers, ensure policies and health-and-safety standards are followed, resolve customer issues, maintain clean shelves and respond to inquiries about product locations and refunds.

Responsibilities

• Manage cashier/merchandising staff and ensure policy compliance.
• Train cashiers/merchandisers in job functions and provide ongoing guidance.
• Handle loss prevention procedures and daily cash office tasks.
• Support customer service by addressing inquiries and processing refunds/exchanges.
• Ensure shelves are clean, properly rotated and displays set up as directed.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and comply with health and safety requirements.
• Perform clerical and banking duties as needed and assist with cashier duties.
