Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart in Halifax is looking for a customer-focused associate to help deliver health, beauty and convenience services to the local community while upholding Loblaw's standards. You will oversee cashier and merchandising tasks, train and guide staff, handle inquiries, resolve customer issues, and support loss prevention, general store operations and banking duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cashier/merchandising staff adherence to store policies.
• Train cashiers and merchandisers in job functions.
• Provide on-going guidance and instruction.
• Ensure loss prevention standards are implemented and manage cash office tasks.
• Assist customers with inquiries, refunds and exchanges.
• Maintain shelves and displays and ensure store cleanliness.
