Job summary

The Michaels Stores AJAX store in Ontario is seeking a Sales Manager to drive a high-performing selling culture and customer experience. You will lead front-end operations, coach teams, and ensure brand and SOP adherence across the store.

Responsibilities include MOD coverage, managing POS and Self-Checkout, driving loyalty participation, and supporting omni-channel services like BOPIS and Same Day Delivery while developing team members and protecting assets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to stand long periods and move throughout the store.
• Strong coaching and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Drive selling behaviors and customer satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and floor leadership.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout operations.
• Promote Loyalty Rewards Program and customer retention.
