Job summary

LCBO in Windsor is seeking an Operations Manager to lead an in-store team and deliver remarkable experiences as the trusted destination for wines, beers and spirits. Under the Store Manager, you will drive store results and champion responsible retailing.

You will oversee customer service, inventory, financial management, merchandising, retail sales and HR, with strong leadership and communication skills. The role requires 5+ years of progressive retail management experience and a flexible

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail management experience in progressive roles such as Store Manager, Assistant Manager, Trainer, Departmental Manager, or District Manager.
• Strong leadership, business savvy, relationships, and self-management.
• Experience leading unionized employees is an asset.
• A college diploma, certificate or university degree in business or retail management is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver remarkable experiences as the trusted destination for wines, beers and spirits.
• Drive customer experience in store by developing a customer-first team mentality.
• Manage customer service, inventory, financials, merchandising, retail sales and HR.
• Demonstrate strong leadership, team-building, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Understand and address social responsibility, facilities, safety, and workplace diversity.
• Utilize internet/intranet and computer applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, web-based ordering and Workforce Management.
• Act as a team builder, mentor and coach; ensure smooth and efficient store operations.
• Support flexible scheduling to cover evenings and weekends.
