Job summary

Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Calgary to lead daily retail operations, drive sales, and coach a team to deliver exceptional customer service. You will manage in-store performance, inventory, and staff while upholding brand standards and a positive, inclusive work environment.

The role requires leadership in a fast-paced retail setting, strong interpersonal skills, and a focus on customer experience.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to deliver sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints.
• Lead store associates through training programs and goal setting.
• Administer disciplinary steps when Store Manager is absent.
• Foster a respectful, inclusive team environment and adherence to dress code.
• Schedule and staff the store, including coverage for peaks.
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on operations and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, inventory control, and security.
