Job summary

Laura Canada is seeking a Store Manager to lead a dynamic fashion retail team in Edmonton. You will motivate a high-energy team to deliver a memorable shopping experience, manage schedules for optimal floor coverage, and coach staff in customer service and product knowledge.

You will partner with merchandising to maintain attractive presentations and ensure store standards, while focusing on sales goals and a positive, engaging work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a store management position.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to motivate a team.
• Strong customer service and fashion knowledge.
• Ability to schedule and manage floor coverage.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, develop and coach team members on exemplary customer service, product knowledge and current trends.
• Ensure that all key financial objectives established are met (sales, closing ratio, dollars per transaction, units per transaction, etc.).
• Schedule effectively to provide optimal floor coverage.
• Act as a stylist to build a personalized wardrobe to the customer.
• Monitor team performance (appraisal, ongoing coaching, conflict resolution, disciplinary action, etc.).
• Collaborate with merchandising to ensure compliance with standards and attractive presentation of merchandise.
• Support daily operations such as receiving merchandise, changing prices, shipping orders/transfers and keeping the store clean.
