Job summary

The Kitchen Steward position at Gray Collection in Ottawa supports the kitchen and service staff by cleaning dishes, silverware and related implements used in meal preparation and service. You will help maintain station and kitchen cleanliness, ensuring safe handling of cleaning supplies and proper sanitation throughout shifts.

We require flexibility for various shifts, the ability to stand for long periods, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, and/or weekends & holidays.
• Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues.
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods (8 hours) and lift at least 50 lbs.
• Understanding of kitchen operations, health and safety rules.
