Job summary

Sherwood Charlottetown Dental is seeking a Sterilization Assistant to join our Charlottetown, PEI team. You will clean, package, sterilize, and store instruments in a way that aligns with IPAC standards and provincial regulations, supporting high-quality patient care.

Ideal candidates have sterilization experience or MDRT-related training, and IPAC knowledge is a plus. This is a full-time onsite role with Monday to Friday schedules to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting or MDRT program preferred.
• IPAC knowledge is an asset.
• Experience in sterilization is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Clean, package, sterilize, and store dental instruments following IPAC standards.
• Operate sterilization equipment and perform required testing.
• Maintain accurate records for compliance and audits.
• Keep the reprocessing area clean, safe, and organized.
• Identify and report equipment or sterilization issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to support efficient patient flow.

The wage for this Sterilization Assistant position is$X-$X/hour depending on skills, experience, and location.

Your Role:
