Responsibilities
- Work with the Regional Operations Manager to set operational goals, measure, and report results in a timely manner.
- Plan, direct, and implement station operations and administrative support to meet productivity and service goals.
- Prepare and analyze performance reports related to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), budgets, and forecasts. Monitor results continuously and adjust operations as needed.
- Ensure payroll is accurately approved and submitted promptly.
- Provide overall direction, support, coaching, and leadership to the team to achieve objectives.
- Create an exceptional employee experience and align departmental and individual efforts with the company's vision, mission, and culture.
- Ensure adherence to policies and procedures for the station.
- Monitor, measure, coach, develop, recognize, evaluate, and provide feedback to direct reports, addressing performance issues and resolving problems.
- Lead the team in delivering the highest level of customer service internally and externally, aiming to continually improve the customer experience.
- Promote a culture where health & safety are priorities.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of managerial experience in a fast-paced logistics environment with team management responsibilities.
- Proven leadership skills to guide a team in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a culture of excellence.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly identify issues and implement solutions.
- Ability to prioritize work effectively, meet deadlines, adapt to shifting priorities, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including leadership, conflict resolution, and team building abilities.
- Positive and professional attitude with a hands-on, team-oriented work style.
