We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer with a strong technical background and experience in Capital Markets / Investment Banking. The successful candidate will be responsible for documenting an existing technology and data framework, including its architecture, components, capabilities, implementation patterns, and guidelines for how development and data teams can consume and integrate with the framework.
This role requires someone who can work closely with architects, developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to understand complex technical solutions and translate them into clear, structured, and developer-friendly documentation.

Additional Information
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Mississauga, ON is $115k - $120k/year & benefits (see below).
The candidate should have a good understanding of the Capital Markets / Investment Banking domain. Exposure to areas such as trade lifecycle, securities, equities, fixed income, derivatives, risk, positions, reference data, market data, or regulatory/reporting platforms would be advantageous.
The ideal candidate is more technical than a traditional documentation writer. They should be comfortable participating in architecture and engineering discussions, reviewing SQL and data models, understanding data pipelines and frameworks, and converting this knowledge into documentation that enables another engineering team to understand and successfully consume the framework.
Technical Writer + Capital Markets / Investment Banking + SQL + Data Warehousing, with Databricks and Medallion Architecture as strong advantages.
